Each year HANFA runs a summer scheme based at the Wesley Centre in Sandbach. Our Summer Scheme is open to children and young people with additional needs aged 8 and up.
What sort of things do you do?
We enjoy fun activities – home and away!
Trips include: Rudyard Lake (steam and boat trips), Reaseheath Zoo, Ruby’s Fund Sensory Centre, Pottery Barn, bowling, canoeing. At ‘home’ we offer hands-on animal experiences, reflexology, fun keep-fit, soft play, bouncy castle, football, art and crafts, music time and more. We keep busy, have lots of fun and have something for everyone! Our activities change daily.
How is it run?
Volunteers work alongside carers to ensure youngsters are well looked after in a safe and stimulating environment.
When is it on?
Tuesday 1st August – Friday 25th August 2017 between 9.30 am – 3.30 pm.
We run 4 days a week (Tues – Fri) for 4 weeks. Your child/young person can come along for as many days as you wish.
Where does it take place?
The Wesley Centre, Wesley Avenue, Sandbach, CW11 1DG.
How much does it cost?
The summer scheme is subsidised by charitable funding however this does not cover the whole cost. The contribution we ask from parents/carers is £17 per day.
